We Will Run Out Without Privatization

If we just give out water for free then everyone will take advantage of this great resource and there will eventually be no more.Privatizing makes people think about wether they really need water or not.You start to use water only when it is necessary and not whenever you want.Water becoming a profitable resource will keep it's precious source alive..We want to create a an egalitarian society.The only way to do so is establish a cost that everyone needs to pay.If it is free the distribution will be uneven thus creating conflicts.If the ratio of money and water amounts remains equal for everyone, than there will not be any conflicts.This happens because the distribution is accurate and equal.There is a cost for water and those who cannot pay for a supply simply do not get any.The world has an economy and in some places it's not so great but it eventually shifts around and thats just how it works.Also these industries really dont care about race,religion,etc.They are providing a service that not only profits them but gives somebody a resource.They will take money from anyhbody and give water to anybody who has paid for treatment services.These companies have authority over the target customers and therefore have equal distribution of water.Privatization is good for the world.For people and the economy.

I disagree with your opinion because if you privatize water it will affect many people. Especially the people that do not have any income and if they don’t get clean water they will get diseases and would cost more in health care because they would need medical attention in order to get well again. I feel they are discriminating because they provide this service for a cost and not everyone can afford this service. At this moment there are many people all over the world who suffer without clean water and the companies help somewhat but don’t do as much as they should do. They only look at the profit side of things and not the reality. I believe that privatizing water will only lead to a vicious cycle of illnesses and diseases and will create more of a problem and maybe even a war just like the war for oil. Providing water with rules would be a better option than selling may help keep the source alive. Cause after all water is a basic need and so is air. Are they going to start selling air also????

I disagree with most of this Nolan , In some parts I do believe you make a good point, for example when you said without water privatization the economy would take that to advantage and use all the water we have. Leaving us with nothing. Besides that , with water costing money there is countries that can not afford fresh water.If we put ourselves in their shoes we would want the exact opposite when it comes to water privatization.We all need to put ourselves in other peoples shoes. Health care costs more then water and with people getting ill we will need a lot of health care. With countries not being able to pay for water they will all get sick , Humans can not live with out fresh water. So what gives people the right to take water away from them. Some countries are not given proper education to get a decent job to pay for water privatization.It would be a bigger issue with people dieing and needing constant help. Are you willing to have thousands of people die over not having money to afford fresh water? . Water should not be owned by companies , It should be owned by the people. We do need to smarten up with all the water we use. There is other ways of using limited water , instead of using water privatization.

Finally someone who actually sees the good in water privatization. Nolan says people will take advantage of all the free water that is available. So why not put a put a FAIR price on the water so no one goes crazy and hogs all the precious water. Now people are buying water only when they NEED it not when they want it. The privatization companies make an order of people can gain equal access of water instead of people hogging the water. As Nolan says its good for the people as in everyone can get equal access to water when ever they need it. Good for the world as in we won't run out any time soon. Last but not least good for the economy, we will have it good money wise for a while and good for the future!

I also disagree with Nolan. I do not think that privatizing the water is going to help. People are dying because of lack of water and if there is water, it is already contaminated and not safe to drink. When people start to see how much an issue this is becoming people will start to be more cautious or keep in mind how much water they are consuming and if it is necessary. He also says: ‘’ The only way to do so is establish a cost that everyone needs to pay’’. We should not start making people pay that isn't fair because it is a natural resource and is to be shared equally with everyone. They charge people in other countries a dollar for water but they can’t even afford that and the price is death. Some people would not be able to afford to pay for water. Why should some company start profiting off privatizing the water and selling it to the world?

I disagree with every thing you said Nolan. Water should be a right not a commodity if you start charging people to drink water not only will people lose money for something that should be free and people that can’t afford water will die because water is essential to live. People that don’t have enough food go to food banks because they need food are people going to have to go to water banks because they can’t afford water? Almost every thing in our house contains water and by privatized not only will the price of water go up but everything that is used in our house will. Instead of having drug dealers we will have people dealing water how that sound? It will be a sad day for everyone when we have to pay for fresh water .I feel that water is a right that a lot of people are very grateful only because other countries don’t have water or have contaminated water that causes death. Its scary thinking about the water situation going on in the world but life is scary and people need to realize that we should only use what we need.
