These days everyone is caught up on buying bottled water because it is cleaner and safer. It is proven that bottled water can be more harmful than tap water. If bottled water sits there long enough, the chemicals from the plastic can actually dissolve into the water making more unsafe than tap water (bottledwaterblues.com). Bottled water is also horrible for the environment. Over 60’000’000 bottles are produced, filled, and disposed of everyday in America alone! It takes over 300 years for one bottle to biodegrade. You can only imagine how much this is affecting our planet.
Why pay for water, when you can get free water from the comfort of your own home? Over 5 million people die each year and about 2.3 billion people suffer from diseases linked to dirty water (wateryear2003.org). I think that privatization isn’t right because it is keeping people from having water when it is no one’s property; its everyone’s to share. The world is caught up in on buying bottled water because it is safer and companies are profiting by selling our natural resource. Is that right?

No it is not right and you are correct. This water in this world is no one’s property and is everyone's to share. Companies that provide so called clean water in bottles is false as you have stated, I agree that we shouldn’t support these water thieving companies at all but it’s too late already. There’s too many people out there who have been brain washed by false advertisement in believing that water companies pump out clean water in bottles but, there's too many chemicals in water bottles for human consumption. Bottled water should not be tolerated although there a few companies here and there there that actually clean their water then serve it to the world, that being Dasani. Aside from Dasani being a clean company, tap water is the better choice to drink. Not only for a healthier body/lifestyle but also to neglect water companies that simply steal this Earth’s precious water. In my opinion Dasani or tap water.

It’s not right at all. Water is a right to all human beings. Everyone should be able to have clean drinking water. 2.3 billion people are suffering from water diseases you said, that’s almost a third of the world’s population, that is just insane. They think that bottled water is safer when really it’s more dangerous, like you said if the water is in the bottle for too long the chemicals from the plastic will dissolve into the water, that’s also the case if the water gets too warm. If a bottle of water sits in a car for a few hours in the summer and heats up, it would be dangerous to drink. No, you probably wouldn’t get sick right away but if you’re drinking that warm bottled water a lot, then eventually yes, you will get sick. The human society isn’t that intelligent and no one is opening their eyes to the damages that most companies that make stuff is doing. Water pollution, earth pollution, air pollution. This leads to animals dying, people dying, plants dying. Water pollution is one of the worst because plankton supply a third of out oxygen. If the water world dies, the land world does too. If the land world dies, the water world is fine. People need to think about the damages that are being caused and start doing something to help our planet, not ignore the problems and hope someone will do it for them. Who’s going to save us now?

What you are saying is all true and I totally agree .you said that what is for everyone to share but water is a market where people are making a lot of money like big water companies. The companies now that what they are doing is harmful to the environment. The companies spin what they are saying by saying bottled water is safer and healthier when you and I know it all lies. No it’s not right only because the companies are taking advantage of the environment and it can’t do anything to save itself .those people are all dying because the companies aren’t taking safety precaution with the water that they are selling . something people can do to reduce there use of water bottles is buy a reusable water bottles and just fill it with water from home and that will insure that parts of the plastic wont get into the water .
