We use to just have to worry about the flu, getting cuts or maybe even an infection. But no, now we need to worry more than ever. Scientist found that combinations of chemicals that are being put in the water have changed the sex organs of shrimp and some fish. We can’t just ignore this anymore, this isn’t just some little scare that will go away. Our supposed drinking water is so poisonous that it’s not just killing fish, it’s actually changing the fish physically. If you still feel safe drinking any old water then maybe you should second guess you judgement. We don’t take into consideration on how bad this situation is really getting. It had already started in some countries where there isn’t enough safe drinking water or even water at all due to big production companies that need water moving in and using it up then moving to find more. It’s not their water, and they shouldn’t be able to put a price tag on it. Water was given to us and should be treated as something of more value than just money. We are made up of about 70% of water and yet we still treat it like it’s never ending. We need this liquid to survive and without it we will die. So until scientist come up with a replacement for water, people should really open their eyes and make a change to their lives for their families and their selves. Water won’t always be here for the taking, we need to treat it as if it is a gift. Because one day, there won’t be any left.

This is an example of how we don't value our water the way it should be. (Personal Opinion) Not only are companies dumping chemicals into our water, but we, the citizens do as well. Question yourself honestly: How many times have you poured chemicals down your drain? This can be any drain, the kitchen sink drain, the bathroom drain and yes the shower drain. Everyones forgotten that Dove and Old Spice showering shampoos and soaps ARE made of chemicals and that it IS being dumped into our water systems and that those chemicals ARE being recycled and partially purified by the water cycle BACK to us to drink our leave for the fishes to embrace fully. If we aren't supposed to drink our shampoo, why do we let them free into our water sources to come back in the form of "water" to. Drink then?? There are ways to limit people from doing that but currently in our society, we are only subject to these methods because they have become necessities in our daily lives. There are still steps we can take like going towards biodegradable products but we find them more expensive than the others.

Tell me, are you willing to put a price on your safety and protection of health?
